When I called the Colorado window company that I found online, they were very helpful with all the questions that I had. I had wanted to get new windows for about five years now and had a list that showed that. I think there may be at least thirty different questions on it, but the Colorado window company that I contacted answered every single one of them.

The other thing that I was looking into doing is having a Colorado deck company put on a small deck on the back of the house. I am sure that this will not cost near as much as the windows but I still want it done. I just want somewhere to put a small table and chairs and possibly the grill so that we have a space to entertain in the summer.

My husband is really not worried about entertaining and thinks that we should take the money from what the Colorado deck company would charge and buy a new flat screen television for the family room. Anyway, I need to have one of them come out and give me an estimate on replacing my entire roof down to the decking. I think that it would be wise of me to also find a home remodeling company that will go up in the attic to see how much damage has been caused once the MN roofers have done their job to replace the roof and stop any more leaks.

If I were to have the home remodeling company come and give me an estimate now, it would be a waste of their time and mine since it may rain again and cause further damage prior to the roof job being completed. I never thought that four months ago when I bought this house, I would have to sink all of this money into it right away. I guess that I should have had it all inspected but the old owners assured me that everything was perfect with the house.

I would think too, that when the wood home restoration company determines what is causing the cracking, it may be something that is covered under my home warranty but I will not know that until they come out and give me their professional opinion of what is going on with my house.

If this issue will not be taken care of by my warranty company, then I will have to turn it over to my home insurance company and see if they can cover it. I may have to see if it will raise my premium at all first though.
