My great-grandmother left me as administrator of all her properties. On her last will and testament I will have to take care on selling the house so that we can all split on the sales. I don’t know why she did this because I have not been home in a long time. Now I have no choice but to do as she asked of me. I started doing my duties as soon as I arrived. My dad recently bought a cottage by the sea.  According to him, it was going to be his retirement home.  He showed us some pictures of the place and indeed it was charming.  Now we do not have to spend so much just to have a vacation by the beach. We would have to wait for the summer because he would be doing some minor repairs to the house first.

My father was a really honorable policeman. He was very brave, very honest, very dedicated, and very committed to the job of providing the citizens with a safe environment. Growing up, I see him as a super hero, and I know, deep within the deepest recesses of my young heart, I will be just like him in the future: brave, honest, committed and maybe even more than that.

Now, I am already a police officer; a safe-keeper, just like my dad. I just hope that he’s still here to see how far I have become. He died two years ago, just in time for my graduation. At his death bed, he spoke of the things I need to keep in my heart, in order to fulfill my duties with honor. My heart was broken that day, but I know that he will always be there for me.
