Having a house with a lawn requires a lot of hard work to keep it beautiful and well-maintained.  Lawn care takes up so much time and effort.  For a working woman like me I find it hard to keep the schedule. But of course, I have to fit it in because the threat of having pests frightens me.  I have kids living with me and of course I do not want any of those crawling or flying things harming them when they play in the lawn.
