I am looking to buy four used iseries servers for no more than about five thousand each. It is very important that they be the iseries servers though. I do not want the pseries servers that I have seen for sale everywhere.

I had four used iseries servers stolen from me out of my office and the insurance company is going to replace them but they have put a limit on what I can pay for them. I wanted to replace everything that was taken with new but they informed me that they could not pay for new stuff, when everything in my office was already about four years old.

I know that I will never replace the computers that I had but they have informed me that since they were used ibm computers then I should look online for used ibm computers that are similar and see what they would be worth today. I will have to kick in some serious cash to get computers that can do what the old ones did. I had just paid for the old ones to be upgraded also, which I will not be getting that cash back either.

I am thinking that I need to find a new insurance company that understands when something is stolen; it is not easy to replace it with half the money it cost to buy it originally.
